Abstract
This event recognizes the work of the Center for New Americans and its partners and features a panel of distinguished experts. During the discussion, panelists consider the positive contributions of immigrants in Minnesota and the regional implications of national and global migration trends. The panel also discussed how to protect immigrants’ rights locally amidst national deadlock on comprehensive immigration reform and growing anti-immigrant sentiment.
